I wonder why there is years

from what i have learned that years are needed to keep our day/ calendar in the same time as with the Earth's around the sun. It takes the Earth.365 days 5 hours 48 minutes and 45 seconds to circle once around the Sun.

There are different types of years.For an example the is a lunar year and vague year  are from different types of religions.

The lunar year be made of twelve full cycles of the phrase of the moon.Muslims uses the lunar year.

The vague year was used in the Ancient Egypt,Iran and Armenia.it is still used by many community 

now this makes me wonder why we have years 

What is under the ground?

Plants grow roots underground.

Roots help a plant stay in the earth.

Roots help a plant grow tall.

A fox can make a home underground.

A fox can stay safe in its hole.

A hole is a good home.

Sometimes you can find water underground.

Water from rain can make a pool underground.

This water can be used for drinking.

There are many different things underground.

i chose to read Marvel Ultimate Spider man{venom} written by Nachie Castro.

It is a book of spider-man in marvel 

The writers purpose is to entertain the reader and to make them amused.

The target audience is kids and young adult.

Particle Theory Of Matter

Aim:To observe convection in a liquid

Equipment:
~200ml beaker
~water
~tweezers
~a crystal of potasium permanganate
~a drinking straw
~Bunsen burner
~heat mat
~tripod
~gauze mat

Method:
1.set up a Bunsen burner on a heatproof mat. put the gauze mat on the tripod but leave it just to one side of the Bunsen burner

2.fill 200ml beaker with 150ml cold water

3.place the beaker on top of the tripod and gauze and allow it to settle for a few minutes

4.carefully insert a drinking straw down one side of the beaker, ensuring the straw is touching the bottom of the beaker. be careful as you do not want to disturb the water to much.

5.using tweezers,  drop a crystal of potassium permanganate down the inside of the straw

6.very gently.so to disturb the water remove the staw

7.light the bunsen burner ans slide it under the tripod so that you are only heating the outside of the beaker where the crystal is
















observation:
the colour was purple and it was at the bottom

when it was heated it rose up to the top of the water

then the colour mixed with the water.

in metal tech we have learning how to make dog tags.
first we got the metal in a long strip and then we had to cut the metal to 45 cm.
then we had to grind the edges until its smooth.
