1. Has he completely lost it in the Banquet scene? (do you think the Ghost is real or imaginary?)
Macbeth is imagining that Banquo and there because he is feeling guilty.
2. Why is he obsessed with killing Banquo? (oh yeah, and Fleance too)
Because he feels suspicious that he knows and he might tell everyone.
He was cause he fought and won two battles
4. Which factor is most influential: (a) Witches & their prophesy? (b) Vaulting ambition? (c) Lady Macbeth?
Lady Macbeth cause she made him do all the things he did
5. Is he nothing more than a “dead butcher” or do we the audience feel differently about him at the end?
Courageous, valiant
Macbeth is brave because he is a strong soldier and will always fight until the end.
Appears to be loyal, patriotic, noble He was loyal at the start of the play until he meets the three sisters (Whiches). But then he becomes unloyal and kills King Duncan.
Ambitious

Macbeth was ruthless and burnt Macduff kids and wife.
